The best solution for removal/reduction of gases from your water supply, such as Radon,  Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), Carbon Dioxide and odors.

Water enters the aeration tank from the well pump and is sprayed into the tank through special non-clogging nozzles. This creates a fine mist which releases the gasses from the water. The water is accumulated in the tank until needed in the home. At that point the submersible pump in the tank provides exceptional pressure to the home (also uses a bladder pressure tank for smooth, even pressure). The system is then vented outside the home (above the roof line). An exhaust fan is an option in some cases.

Features & Benefits

  • Durable, high density polyethylene blow molded construction
  • FDA Approve Components
  • Reduces gases naturally without chemicals
  • Reduces or removes odors
  • Provide exceptional water pressure throughout the home
  • Indoor cover with exhaust blower

It is recommended that a carbon filter be used after the Aeration Tank, just to absorb any left-over radon gas. Some people try to use aeration systems for the removal of sulfur or hydrogen sulfide, but we do not recommend it. This is not a good use of aeration.

Aeration System

"The instruction sheet was just about useless, I found a video from US water system on Youtube, this was very helpful. I've only had the system set up for a week or so, it seems to be working fine. No more air/gas in my water."

NCDan

"I purchased an aeration system last year. The system seems to be well-built and works fine. The installation instructions are terrible and the users manual is even worse. The system did reduce the radon level (~50%) in my drinking water but that was not nearly as much as advertised. I tried to call the company several times for help and even left a message, but I never could get anybody and they never called back."

Works well but,

"It does remove the entrapped gas but there are some improvements that should be considered. First, the exhaust fan should be on a timer. Even though much of the gas is released by the aeration some still remains in the water after the tank fills. The fan should keep running for at least one minute to allow any remaining gas to be vented. Second, the pump causes some hammer when it shuts off. I have secured the water lines as best as I can but there is still some excess vibration when the pump stops running. Lastly, the tank level limit switches have become hung up on the pump from time to time. Periodically I drain the tank to clean it. When it fills back up the pressure switches have occasionally been caught between the pump and the tank. This causes some problems with getting the pump going again. Not hard to fix but it is annoying."

Pump and pressure switch are terrible

"I bought this to go in front of my US water Systems R/O system and I replaced the pressure switch multiple times and the pump just cannot handle the pressure needs of the R/O which is only greater than 35 PSI. You'd sure think that would be easy. The pressure tank that comes with it is extremely undersized. This needs a total redesign!!!"
