Used in our GreenWave Salt- Free Water Conditioner, the Filtersorb SP3 Media is a new media technology that uses Nucleation Assisted Crystallization (NAC). NAC transforms Calcium and Magnesium (hardness minerals) into non-soluble microcrystals. These formed crystals provide essential minerals to the water making it one of the healthiest water types available. FILTERSORB® SP3 doesn't add up any sodium in the water like conventional softeners.

Filtersorb SP3 Media is Tested and Certified by the WQA under ANSI/NST-61. The media is manufactured in Mannheim, Germany by Watch Water.
FILTERSORB® SP3 has the ability and capacity to absorb Iron, Copper, Manganese, Lead, Zinc etc. If your water has a highly concentrated presence of these contaminants the FILTERSORB® SP3 beads may change color, this will affect the longevity of the media. Do not use where water is microbiologically unsafe or with water of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the unit. The system must be maintained according to the manufacturer's instructions. Pre-treatment for sediment, Iron, Hydrogen Sulfide, Manganese, hydrocarbons, and Copper may be required depending on water conditions.
In case of any strange color change of the FILTERSORB SP3 media beads or the treated water is noticed, please contact us with a detailed water analysis.
The lifespan of the media is typically 5 to 7 years. The media is sold by the liter. The quantity needed is determined by the tank size (below).
