Hydrogen Peroxide + Catalytic Carbon
A small pump injects hydrogen peroxide just ahead of a catalytic carbon tank, which instantly oxidizes iron, manganese and sulfur so they can be filtered and backwashed away.

Air-Injection Iron Filter
Uses oxygen from the air to oxidize moderate iron, sulfur and manganese. Our side-mounted valve keeps iron “gunk” out of the valve, cutting service problems by as much as 90%.

Rusty-looking water, reddish-brown particles, orange or black stains on fixtures and laundry, and a metallic taste are the classic signs. High iron often comes with manganese, hydrogen sulfide and arsenic too.

How much iron can these systems remove?
The Oxi-Gen handles up to 8 ppm (10 ppm with ozone). Both inFusion systems handle up to 20 ppm, and more if custom-engineered.
Will an iron filter also remove the rotten-egg smell?
Yes. Oxidation converts hydrogen sulfide so it can be filtered out along with iron and manganese.
What upkeep is involved?
Backwashing is automatic. inFusion systems need the peroxide tank refilled (about $200 to $300 a year), and the carbon is typically replaced every 4 to 5 years.
Do I still need a water softener?
If you also have hard water, yes. An iron filter goes first, then a softener. Call us and we’ll size both.
