Reviews

Flexx infusion iron and sulfur sytem

"We are loving our new filter system. Our water smelled terrible of sulfur and had iron bacteria. As soon as the system was hooked up and water had circulated, the smell was gone. Still making adjustments to the settings. We went through 5 gallons of solution in 3 weeks. Yikes. Called customer service who walked me through setting changes. Thank you very much."

Great tech support

"It was a very easy installation, but it was very helpful to have access to the tech support via telephone. They were always quick and knowledgeable. There were a couple of details in the manual and video that didn't match the actual system . . . 1) bypass valve and 2) a sensor. so it was great to have confirmation from the experts. Also, the bubble/fizz test with the H2O2 never actually got to 5 seconds of fizz. It was either no fizz or ~25 seconds of fizz. The original setting recommendation was 20s 50% and I went through 10 gallons of H2O2 in a couple of days. Over time I dialed it in. I also had to rush order another 10 gallons of H2O2."

Just a few days in operation, but much better wa-wa!

"The pros who installed it said the setup was pretty reasonable. It booted right up, and we have *much* better water now. Metallic taste is gone, and the slight sulfuric aroma, especially from the hot water, is now also gone. I'd recommend the system."

Great support!

"US Water Systems technical support was friendly and knowledgeable in answering my questions as I installed my Flexx InFusion system myself."

Schauer, B. (5/5)

Smell is Gone!

"Totally eliminated the smell. Water tastes much better too."

Joshua H. (5/5)

So far OK

"In service two weeks, so far, so good. We're looking for testing products that are a bit more re accurate than the "look for bubbles" technique. That's equivalent to getting a weather report by sticking your head out the window."

Tom H. (3/5)

John was very helpful getting

"John was very helpful getting everything working . Seems like peroxide feeder wasn't working sent out new duckbill seems like it's working now. I'll give you update thanks."

Mary P. (5/5)

Second water system

"I had one of your systems installed on the small cottage that I have on the same property as my home and it worked great. I ordered a second system (my setup required it) and it has worked fantastic in both places. It took me over a year to find you and I wish that I had found you sooner as al of the other systems told me that they could not help me after looking at my lab results. The customer service was so very helpful both before I purchased your system and after. Thank you for finally giving me potable water in my home!!!!!"

Karen (5/5)

Unit still not working properly

"We recently purchased and installed a whole water softener and reverse osmosis system. The whole water system appears to be working very well however, the water still looks great in color after a week and a half After being installed. The reverse osmosis is still not working properly. We have been working with staff from US water systems, but the problem is still ongoing."

Q&A

can this system be installed outdoors
This system is not intended for outdoor installation unless properly protected from the elements and freezing temperatures. Exposure to rain, snow, and UV sunlight can damage the control valve, tanks, and electronic components, while freezing conditions can crack the tanks and plumbing. For outdoor use, the unit would need to be enclosed in a weatherproof, insulated structure to ensure proper operation and longevity.
I have bad sulfur / rotten egg smell coming from my well water. My current well pump is 8 GPM, I am unsure which system I need as I see then offered in 10 and 15 gpm only. My home is a bedroom with 4 people.
The 10 GPM unit calls for 5 GPM to adequately backwash the bed. If you have 8 GPM feed from your well, you would select the 10 GPM unit. Please feel free to contact one of our water specialists to assist you should you have any additional questions.
What is the micron rating of this filter?
Although we do not prescribe this system to work as a mechanical filtration system, carbon substrate will typically filter to 10 to 20 micron.
I've installed this system and have been going through about 1.6 gallons of H2O2 per week (6.5 gallons per month). We are averaging 240 gallons of water usage per day and I have the flow rate set at 5 seconds and 45%. Does that rate of H2O2 consumption seem normal? On the positive side our water is now sulfur and iron free and tastes so much better!
The answer is fully dependent on the levels of sulfur and iron you are removing. Here is a good video that describes how to test if you are injecting too much or not enough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5vrmEzzuKw
hi i was wondering exactly what the GPM differances are and why i would want one over the other ?
The main difference is the size of the carbon tank and amount of carbon media in the tank. Our rule of thumb, 1-2 bathrooms = 10 gpm, 3-4 bathrooms = 15 gpm, 4 or more bathrooms = 20 gpm. You can also take into consideration number of people in the house.
