• Natural Oxidation - Air is injected into the top of the tank converting ferrous iron to ferric iron and oxidizing sulfur after untreated water has passed through the control valve preventing the control valve from fouling with iron and/or iron. The Sludge that forms in most Air Injection Systems is simply gone and the iron and sulfur is eradicated with ease.

• Total System Control - Legacy View Smartphone App and meter control give you total and advanced control over system regeneration, efficiency and ease of operation. All it takes is 30 seconds to program the Flexx Oxi-Gen. Fully Adjustable cycle times.

• Eco-Friendly - No other iron or sulfur filter uses as little water as the Flexx OXi-Gen Superfilter. Other filters have to backwash every night to recharge the free air in the top of the tank. The electronic control center is easy to set and once set, you never have to set it again (except for DST). Got rid of my 4ppm iron!!

"This is a great unit so far! I filled the bathtub with the untreated water from our new well and let’s just say it looked more like soup than bathwater… so much iron! As soon as my plumber installed the unit, the water turned a beautiful, perfect, clear color. There was a bit of a funny taste to the water for the first week or two, but then the filter media broke in and the water taste great now. The instruction book was somewhat less than helpful for my plumber. He had to spend quite a bit of time on the phone with US water systems… but they were very helpful. It has been about six months now and it’s working beautifully. I’m very happy with the results."

Unit broke down less than two years later.

"The unit got rid of iron stains throughout the house. However, it broke down less than two years later. The injection valve broke and started to leak inside the Ozon generator through the hose. The valve is covered by a warranty but an ozone generator ($$$) for some reason not. Even though the leaky valve is propably one that caused it to fail. It's a pretty expensive system that is getting even more expensive now."

"The unit failed after a year and a half in a residential setting. The injection valve (covered by warranty) started to leak through my ozone generator with water spilling all over the basement floor. The ozone generator is no longer functional and USwatersystems is not going to cover it under warranty saying this item does not have the same warranty as all other electronics."

what to install first Katalox Media or catalytic carbon first? It doesn't come with gravel.. hope I don't need that.
Yes — the Katalox Light media goes in first. The catalytic carbon, is to be installed after the Katalox as a polishing media/stage. As for gravel, do not add gravel unless it was included with the system or specifically called out in the instructions. Some systems require gravel and some do not, depending on the tank and distributor design.
Does the carbon go into the tank first or does the katalox media go into the tank first ?
The Katalox media goes into the tank first, with the catalytic carbon layered above it.
Do you sell the Smart Blend Media separately?
