The Grundfos SCALA pump is compact and extremely easy to install. The pressure switch and tank are already built into the SCALA. The outlet pipe connection can be angled up to 5° to fit your existing pipe-work. The built-in two-way communication system connects to the intuitive Grundfos GO REMOTE app, which enables you to monitor, trouble-shoot, and control SCALA1 from your smartphone. You can download the Grundfos GO REMOTE app to any device with an iOS or Android operating system. Grundfos is built for trouble-free operation. It's construction from corrosion-resistant materials means it can be used for ultrapure water. The anti-cycling feature prevents the pump from repeatedly starting and stopping in the event of a dripping tap or a minor leak. If there is no water available, the pump will stop to protect itself and restart automatically when water is available again. There is no need to worry about a separate pressure tank, pressure switch, electrical connections, fittings, or any other separate items. With SCALA1, it is literally a matter of connecting the plumbing and power and turning on the pump. Installation of a SCALA1 is simple and can be done in a matter of minutes.

"I really like this pump. It's not really a d. i. y. pump for an inexperienced homeowner in my opinion. Better installed by a pro or advanced homeowner. I was able to figure out what I needed to do for my needs with quite a bit of research. Information is a little hard to come by if you're not a commercial installer. If a user just hooks it up with no further system design considerations, there might be conditions that can reduce the life of the pump or cause unforeseen problems that you might not have considered in your particular use case."
