Matrixx Bone-Char Fluoride Backwashing Filter Reduces Fluoride From All Taps

The Matrixx automatic backwashing fluoride filter system uses NSF-approved bone char media (high carbon, calcium phosphate matrix with high affinity for fluoride ions) in a granular, backwashing configuration. The system is fully automatic, regenerating (i.e. backwashing) itself to purge captured fluoride and suspended solids, restoring the media bed and maintaining flow performance. The smart electronic controller ensures efficient operation, minimal maintenance, and consistent fluoride reduction.

Water must be dechlorinated before entering the bone char filter. Chlorine can rapidly exhaust or damage bone char media. A carbon pre-filter or whole-house dechlorination stage is strongly recommended for all installations.
