"I'm glad I reviewed other customer comments prior to ordering this meter so I knew how to remedy its condition. It arrived, like others, with a dry sponge and crystalized. I cleaned the sensor and soaked in pH 7 solution and calibrated prior to first use. It does take some time to "stabilize" the reading, and the packets of pH7, pH4 and storage solution is minimal, so be sure to order a supply of solutions. The only positive is the sensor is replaceable on this meter."
