nsfPremium Grade Strong Acid Cation Exchange Resin With 10% Cross linking

Most cation exchange is 8% cross linked. 10% cross linked resin simply has a longer life and is more chemical and chlorine resistant. Resintech CNS10 cation resin provides a high purity, premium cation resin designed for the treatment of foods, beverages, potable waters, and water used in the processing of food. C110DQ resin is a high grade resin which complies with NSF/ANSI Standard 44 & 61 Certified.

Resintech CNS10 cation resin has excellent hydraulic characteristics for optimal flow rate and backwash flow rates. Its high capacity and porosity characteristic provide exceptional kinetic behavior along with good physical, chemical and thermal stability.

Description

  • Premium grade, strong acid cation exchange resin based on cross linked polystyrene matrix with 10% crosslinking, containing sulphonic acid groups

Resin gf or me to 0 hardness

"I replaced my resin with Resintech CNS10 Premium 10% Crosslinked Water Softener Resin. My water hardness level dropped about 30% from the best readings I had with the prior resin that shipped with the softener. Definitely will be staying with this brand."

Waldemar I. (5/5)

Water Softener Resin Replacement

"This Resintech CNS10 Premium 10% Crosslinked Water Softener Resin is performing very well. My resin tanks started leaking from sun exposure and when I received the replacement tanks, I found green growth inside the tanks from the sun, therefore I replaced the resin. My Kinetico Softener has 2 tanks requiring a total of 1. 5 cuft. It was great to be able to order a 1. 0 and . 5 cuft bag."

Glen C. (5/5)

Q&A

Can I use this resin in an Easy Water system for replacement>
Yes - this resin will work as replacement resin in any model traditional water softener.
Following up on my previous question. For a typical two bath home how often would this resin require regeneration? Is it every month, 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years? If you can't answer roughly how often then how would a typical homeowner know when to regenerate the resin, Also, what is the process for regeneration? Thanks!
In practice most homeowners see every 7–14 days because controllers are set to regenerate a little early for best water quality. If your water is harder, the interval shortens; if you upgraded to a bigger softener or have fewer people, it lengthens.
How often will this resin need to be regenerated?
The ResinTech CNS10 is a 10% crosslinked strong acid cation resin designed for residential and industrial water softening applications. Its higher crosslink density enhances resistance to chlorine and thermal degradation, making it particularly suitable for challenging water conditions . Regeneration Frequency The frequency of regeneration for the CNS10 resin depends on several factors: Water Hardness: Higher concentrations of calcium and magnesium ions will exhaust the resin more quickly. Water Usage: Greater water consumption leads to faster resin exhaustion. Salt Dosage: The amount of salt used during regeneration affects the resin's capacity to remove hardness ions. Typically, water softener resins are regenerated when they reach their capacity to exchange ions, which is influenced by the above factors. For precise regeneration scheduling, it's essential to consider the specific water hardness level and household water usage patterns.
