Excellent System – A Worthwhile Upgrade with First
"We recently updated our home water treatment setup, and the results have been fantastic. Our configuration starts with a US Water 5-Micron Magna Filter Cartridge, followed by a 1-Micron Magna Filter Cartridge, both feeding directly into a Matrixx Smart Metered Water Softener. This setup replaced an old all-in-one softener system. While the upfront cost for the Matrixx system and dedicated Magna filters is higher than just buying another standard all-in-one unit, the difference in build quality and performance proves it is money well spent. If you have a solid understanding of basic plumbing, installing this system is entirely manageable. The components are well-designed, the instructions are clear, and everything fits together logically without requiring specialized trade secrets to get it running leak-free. The daily difference in our municipal water has been remarkable. The best part is the elimination of hard water spots. Our shower glass stays crystal clear, and dishes come out of the dishwasher looking spotless without needing extra rinsing agents. The taste of our municipal water has improved significantly as well. It no longer has that chemical aftertaste. Our ice cubes are also visually different, freezing much clearer than before. The smart metering on the Matrixx softener works flawlessly, ensuring it only regenerates when necessary so we aren't wasting salt or water. A big part of what made this experience so positive was working with our US Water representative, Rene Anies. He was incredibly professional, personable, and deeply knowledgeable about the products, guiding us through the purchase and offering fantastic after-sale assistance. When one of our items arrived damaged during shipping, Rene made the return and replacement process completely hassle-free. It’s a solid, high-quality setup backed by a great team.
