- Does this cartridge work with any filtration system that uses 4.5x20 in cartridge? I am currently using SimPure DB20P-3KDF 3-Stage Whole House Heavy Metal Water Filtration System with 5 Micron 20” x 4.5” Sediment PP, KDF & Carbon Water Filter. Thank you
- Yes, if your housing accepts a standard 4.5" x 20" Big Blue (DOE/drop-in) cartridge, it should physically fit. However, the Limeblaster cartridge is a scale-control cartridge, so it is not a direct equivalent to your SimPure sediment/KDF/carbon filters. It can fit in a stage, but it will change what that stage does (for example, it won’t provide the same sediment/heavy metal/chlorine reduction as your current cartridges).
