"Switched over to this from cheap 1 micron filters on Amazon that did not seal on each end. Those filters still let sediment by on each end so the 1 micron rating was pointless. This filter has rubber end caps and gets pinched better in the big blue housing. No signs of sediment yet after a month now in use"

"Been using these for a few months now. Have really made a difference with our iron issue, not 100% of course since we need additional filtration still. However, they really reduced our iron stains and smell in our well water. We have both ferric and ferrous iron so it's a challenge to filter. However, it's worked great for us. Not sure if it's the pleated design since they say they have a bit better filtration then spun ones."
