Completely BPA-Free
The BPA scare was directly due to information coming from some polycarbonate plastic materials. These are the hard shatter-resistant clear (or colored) drinking water bottles and things like baby bottles. "I purchased and installed this system in Jan of 2023 and held off writing a review until some time had passed. Installation was straight forward. I didn't run into any problems and I don't consider myself mechanically inclined. The instructions were clear and I didn't get hung up anywhere. Under my sink is fairly cramped but the system fit just fine. The faucet looks clean, sturdy and not out of place at all. My tap water tested at 80-100ppm. I was initially using a Berkey which tested at ~78ppm on some very old filters. The Aquapurion tested at 8ppm. 6 months later of daily use and it's testing at 5ppm. There are 2 adults in the house making coffee at least twice a day, filling water bottles and whatnot. I haven't had a single issue yet. Flow rate is still great. The water tastes very good. Only downside is that now I don't want water anywhere else. Not often am I still happy with a purchase after 6 months but It's a solid product and I highly recommend it."
