If you have an icemaker or want higher pressure for your reverse osmosis system, then this Premium 5-Stage Permeate Pump RO is an incredible solution. Most RO systems lose 30% to 40% of their pressure in the reverse osmosis process but not this one! You wont believe the pressure and volume when you use the non-electric permeate pump reverse osmosis system. This system utilizes all NSF, WQA and FDA Certified components and can be installed neatly under your kitchen sink or remote-installed in a basement or utility room. All filters and membranes are made in USA and the systems includes a John Guest Inlet Valve and Tank Valve.
The BPA scare was directly due to information coming from some polycarbonate plastic materials. These are the hard shatter-resistant clear (or colored) drinking water bottles and things like baby bottles. Typically you will not see any BPA in plastics like polypropylene or PE as it is not one of the plastics used in the processing of the material. NSF does scan for BPA, so if there was elevated levels in the product it would fail the material extraction test.

"I have mixed feelings about this RO system. The good news is the quality seems good, and the flow is great. The permeate pump combined with the larger tubing really provides great flow. I mounted my tank and polishing filter in the basement up by the ceiling to have the shortest run possible to the faucet from the tank. I mounted the first 3 stages and RO membrane 15 feet away in the basement. My main complaint is that there were multiple mistakes with my order and generically poor customer service after the sale. Pre-sale service was great. They forgot to send my permeate pump initially, then they sent it with no bracket to clip it to the RO housing, and no 90-degree compression fittings as shown in most pictures. I called to request those parts and the person I spoke with seemed to blow me off a bit and then sent me a single 90-degree fitting in the mail and no bracket. So now my permeate pump is zip tied instead - not ideal. I used an HM TDS meter to measure the TDS before and after, and it seems the RO is only operating at about 70%. I was hoping for a bit more than that."
