"Filter media is granulated type just like refillable i had. Takes lots of flushing to get ckean water. Once ckean dissolve rate is better thsn my previous mefia which clogged every faucet and shower head because it doesn't dissolve completely and build up in faucet screens found at in if faucet nozzles. Neutralizes water fine for 2 person whole house application."
