Q&A

I live just outside of Houston, Texas and it gets to be gates of Hades hot every year. My whole house filter system would be in the garage and temps would exceed 100 F. Is there a system that performs above that temp or couldn't I piece a system together with three of these hi-temp housings? Thanks,
If it’s installed in a garage and out of direct sunlight, temperatures over 100°F are usually not a problem. The high-temp housings are rated for much higher water temperatures than that. However, I would not normally recommend building a full whole-house system out of three 10" high-temp housings, because flow and pressure drop can become an issue. For a whole-house application, it is usually better to size the system specifically for the home and water conditions.
