- Will magna filters fit the blue housings that I use for pleated filters?
- Usually, no. Most “blue” housings that take pleated filters are standard Big Blue housings that use DOE (double open end) cartridges. The Magna cartridge you linked is a 4.5" x 10" with a 222 double O-ring (posi-seal) end, so it typically won’t seat/seal correctly in a DOE-style housing.
- Will Magna work with KINETICO 10" Mach Sediment Pre Filter
- It’s not likely to work. The Magna cartridge uses a 222-style double O-ring “plug-in” seal, while most Kinetico 10" Mach sediment cartridges are DOE (double open end). Because the end style is different, it typically won’t seat or seal properly in the housing.
