Better filter than the original

"Purchased the Bodyguard Whole House Filtration & Green Wave Salt Free Alternative System for $3,200 that came with the Interceptor 222 filter for ($170. 00). Was told this filter would work good on this system. Only 1 month into the new install, our water pressure / flow rate, dropped significantly. When I called, US water systems told me I would need a less dense filter (Magna) for another $80. 00. The only thing not happy with, they did not offer any discount for recommending a filter that was way more expensive that only lasted a month of service."
