"Overall, this adds a little water hammer buffer to what we had before this product. Things I don’t like are the lack of an air pressure gauge for the pre-charge. I also wish it was a higher PSI. 20 PSI is too low. I’m running my tank at 43 PSI to not trip the SCALA pump which triggers at 45 PSI. Also, if you increase the precharge air pressure, the volume of water drastically decreases. At 43 PSI, the volume of water is closer to 10 gallons versus 40 gallons."

"The 1. 25 inch plastic MNPT should be made out of stainless steel. It leaks constantly. I paired mine with the US Water Systems Defender 8000 RO and I have mine set at 43PSI. My Scala pump was running at 60PSI and I had to reduce the system pressure to 43PSI which was less than ideal. I also noticed a rubbery/ plastic taste to my water. Overall, I wish the output pressure was 60PSI. Overall, it does what it was designed to do, but I’m not sure it was the right solution for me."
