"PRIOR to the filtering system from US Water, I had the worst water deposits and build up of any home I've ever had. You name it everything was plugged and seriously discolored. The dishwasher, washing machine, ice machine and frig, sinks, faucets, toilets, tub etc. And the smell was the worst! AFTER installation and weeks of cleaning, we now have clear ice, white toilets and good waterflow etc. etc. And most relieving is the absence of the foul smell. So from the two sediment filters to the radial carbon flow, this new house has a completely different feel. This water filtering system alone has made the difference. The feeling one gets by the presence of clear fresh water is, well "priceless!" Thank you US Water for the advise and guidance which helped me get the system put in place with American made well priced solution!"

- Will this filter fit in the 4.5x20 Magna housing? I am confused between the "222 seal" and the "double o-ring seal", as they look the same and the filter dimensions are the same. Thanks!
- Yes, this filter should fit in the 4.5" x 20" Magna housing. On our site, “222 seal” and “double o-ring seal” refer to the same end style, so although the wording is different, they are the same connection style in this case. Since the dimensions are also the same, this cartridge should be compatible.
- Is this filter NSF approved?
- This filter is not NSF certified.
- So @ 4000 gal per month...it will last 2yr??
- It can last "up to" 2 years at that flow rate but it is all dependent on how bad the water it that is being fed the filter.
- Will this filter fit a Pentek Big Blue housing and seal properly internally?
