US Water Three Stage Filtration System for Deionized (DI) Water Applications
- It is recommended that you feed the Filtration System with Reverse Osmosis Water for optimal operation and extended cartridge life.
- This three stage system includes the housings, bracket, filter wrench, (1) 4-1/2" x 20" Carbon Pre-Filter, and (2) 4-1/2" x 20" Mixed Bed DI Cartridges.
- All filters have double o-ring seals to prevent bypass and produce the highest quality deionized water possible.
- Remember, the higher the water quality entering the DI system, the lower the operating costs (filter cartridge last longer).
- Each of the two mixed bed DI cartridges will remove 25,000 mg/l or ppm of total dissolved solids, for a total of 50,000 mg/l (or ppm) removal
- Inlet/Outlet is 1" FIP
- Includes choice of quality light so you can know when to change filters:

- How many GPD is this rated for?
- The capacity of the DI filters isn’t a fixed number of gallons – it depends on how “dirty” (how high the TDS) your incoming water is. The two DI cartridges together have a removal capacity of 50,000 ppm-gallons. Since mg/L and ppm are essentially the same unit for our purposes, you can think of it this way: Gallons of DI water you’ll get ≈ 50,000 ÷ (your feed water TDS in ppm or mg/L) A few examples make it clearer: If your feed water is 100 ppm, you can expect about 500 gallons (50,000 ÷ 100). If your feed water is 250 ppm, you can expect about 200 gallons (50,000 ÷ 250). If your feed water is 500 ppm, you can expect about 100 gallons (50,000 ÷ 500). So, the higher the TDS (ppm or mg/L) of your feed water, the fewer gallons you’ll get before the DI cartridges are exhausted.
