"This small but very powerful water softener was the perfect solution to add clean water to our new motor coach. The team at US Water was examining helpful and effective in finding the correct application for our coach. This softener has a phone app to keep track of its operations. One major piece of advice: follow the directions exactly. When I connected the brine line to the brine tank, I didn't have the split ring and ferrel installed correctly. Buy It - You Won't Be Sorry!

"I'm back after nearly six months of use to provide an updated review of the Traxx Mini. This thing is unbelievable! Installed in our fifth wheel RV, we've spent most of that time in South Dakota and New Hampshire, two areas with extremely hard water (25+ GPG). It's set to regenerate every 8 days and I just finished the FIRST bag of salt we bought. I test the water at the faucet every week using a Hach 5B test kit and it consistently reads less than ONE GPG. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Is it pricey? Yeah, but for once you actually get what you pay for. 100% better than the annoying, ineffective On The Go softener we were previously using. Oh, and love the design. Allows me to mount the main tank behind the wall in the basement storage area and still connect via Bluetooth to get info and configure it. The brine tank is mounted just inside the compartment door, making it super easy to add salt when needed."

So Far, Mostly So Good . . .

"Just installed a Traxx Mini water softener system in our fifth wheel RV. First, the good news - we're in an area with extremely hard water (25 gpg) and immediately after installation the Traxx brought that down to under ONE GPG. Couldn't ask for better performance. Unfortunately there's also some bad news - The system shipped with a defective flow meter in the control head and they're sending me a new one to replace it (more good news, great customer service!). It also shipped with the wrong installation guide, which wasn't a huge deal since I could download the correct one off their website. Also bad news, I purchased the system at least partially because it has a smart phone app that allows remote configuration. I found that the app doesn't recognize the brine tank size used with the mini system and when I configure how much salt I put in it constantly tells me I have "low salt" level. Customer service tells me that the control head and software are manufactured by a different company (which surprised me) and they won't make this simple update to the app to accommodate the smaller tank. Not happy about that at all."

Could you sit this on top of a counter in small home
You can physically place the Traxx Mini on an elevated surface if the counter is sturdy and you have plumbing/drain access there—but it’s not really a “countertop appliance.” It’s designed to be plumbed in (in/out + drain) and used for small spaces like RVs/tiny houses/condos.
