Quantum Disinfection™ Media is a cationic electron magnet disinfection system for water applications. Its highly charged substrate and surface areas have millions of potential sanitation sites per square micrometer. The media's disinfection capability is a result of energetic, positively charged sites that are created at the media's surfaces, which have been modified through a technological breakthrough (US patent-pending 62/128,160). Any microorganism that comes into direct contact with those surfaces is immediately and completely destroyed. Direct contact causes the entire structure of the microorganisms to collapse.
Here's THE DIRTY LITTLE SECRET about Reverse Osmosis Systems: While RO takes out the largest spectrum of contaminants of any water treatment process, the fact of the matter is that a RO tank is a great breeding ground for heterotrophic bacteria. Heterotrophic bacteria is detected by using Heterotrophic Plate Count (HPC) and while there are no specific numerical guidelines are recommended, it is suggested that they be as low as possible.

The Story Behind Quantum Disinfection™
Quantum Disinfection™ is a new breakthrough in water treatment utilizing technology from the manufacturing of semiconductors.
