US Waters Philosophy on Laboratory Water

US Water supplies laboratory grade water for hospitals, research facilities, manufacturing, cosmetics, foodservice, and other applications. We are known for our simple, clean design which can save the lab thousands of dollars.

We started our Laboratory Water division in 2002 because of companies like Millipore, Barnstead, Elga, Evoqua, and many others that charge really high prices for their systems. We believe in making a profit, but don't think those profits should be outrageous. We cut-out-layers of distribution and sell direct without any commissioned salespeople, which also saves you money.

We have designed a system that isn't stuffed into a pretty box that is hard to service. Our systems are of the open-frame design. That simply means that everything doesn't have to fit into a tight place where service is difficult to perform. Our systems are open and not necessarily pretty although many of our customers think they are beautiful! They also love the fact that service is easily performed by their own personnel because of the easy access to any component.

US Water Raptor Laboratory Water Systems are low in cost, easy to install, economical to operate and a snap to service. What's not to like?

Superior Operation, Better Value, Lower Price

With a Raptor RO/DI Lab Water System from US Water, you receive lower up-front costs (dealing direct saves thousands of dollars), lower cost of operation, and the system is easier to service (in fact, lab personnel can often change filters themselves).

US Water has no commissioned salespeople and dealing direct with us can save you as much as 70%! US Water offers several standard lab water systems and also custom engineer systems for any application - big or small. Call one of our Lab Water experts at 800-608-8792 or e-mail us at customerservice@uswatersystems.com.

"Sales was very helpful and responsive. Tech support, not so much. My first emails didn't get answered at all. Then they just re-sent the manuals that we already had. . . ."

Q&A

Does that mean the RO water is stored in the 20 gallon tank, waiting for the DI spicket to open to deliver water? How does the 320-RPT-LW-070:320-RPT-070-20C connect to the water source of the building? What is the minimum water source psi/pressure requirement for the RO/DI to function? How many gallons of water capacity is the 20 gallon tank? did I see 4.5gal? Will the RO be refilling the 'tank' everytime you dispense DI water? What happens if you dispense 4.5 gallons of water at one time: does it continue to dispense as the RO is resupplying the 'pressurized tank', a little at a time (a little slower than the DI is dispensing)?? Where does the UV light connect? I didn't see the dimensions of the UV Bulb. I'm trying to spec out a system for my client. Perhaps I'm looking at the wrong system. Thank you.
-You can choose 20,40,80,or 120 gallon tank and yes RO water is stored in the tank and flows through the DI filters and UV when there is demand at spicket. Feed line from cold water source is 3/8" with minimum pressure of 30 psi. A 20 gallon pressurized RO tank hold about 14 gallons of RO water. Yes, RO refills tank whenever water is drawn down. If you run the storage tank empty and are still drawing water, it will come out but very slow at the RO makeup rate, its best to size your system so that does not happen. See the drawing under Literature for connections. We recommend contacting our Commercial Water Specialist at 855-323-4821 for more detailed information.
What is the TDS and resistivity of water after Raptor Laboratory Water RO/DI System?
The Raptor Lab System is designed to produce ASTM Type 2 Grade Water with a minimum resistivity of 1 meg ohm. If you need Type 1 water we would recommend a Clir 3000 Series or Clir 5000 Series system. https://uswatersystems.com/products/resintech-clir-3000-series-ultrapure-type-1-lab-water-system?_pos=8&_sid=b5f98ed70&_ss=r
Please confirm the Pulsar Ultraviolet Disinfection System will need a Rated Flow of 3 GPM and the size of the DI filters for the Raptor 500 gpd Ro will be 4.5" x 10".
The UV on this system is rated for up to 3 gpm and the DI filters on this system (70 liters per hour) are 4.5 x 10" DI cartridges.
