Engineered with dozens of polyester pleats, the 5 Micron Magna Filter effectively removes particles as small as 5 microns. Its enhanced design boasts up to 30% more surface area than competing brands, ensuring it lasts up to 30% longer without compromising your home water pressure.
What truly sets this filter apart is its unique, proprietary double O-ring seal, guaranteeing no contaminated water bypasses the filter element.

This filtration process features a potent combination of premium catalytic carbon, Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), and KDF 55 media substrates. This robust blend eliminates unpleasant tastes and odors while neutralizing a broad spectrum of chemical impurities.
Catalytic carbon is highly effective at reducing chloramines and volatile organic compounds. GAC excels in removing chlorine and other contaminants. KDF 55 media targets heavy metals and prevents bacterial growth. Together, they ensure that every drop from your tap is high quality, clean, and safe.

5 Micron Magna Filter:
“Magna” translates to “great” in Greek, and true to its name, this
filter offers the largest surface area available on the market. It’s
also 100% made in the USA, setting it apart from the commonly
overseas-manufactured filters of our competitors.
Washed Quartz Gravel:
Acts as an excellent substrate for upflow filtration, enhancing
the overall effectiveness of the system.
KDF-55 Redox Media:
This bacteriostatic media not only maintains cleanliness but also
removes 50% - 80% of chlorine through the redox process,
significantly extending the lifespan of the carbon.
Coconut Shell Granular Activated Carbon:
Renowned for imparting a sweet taste to water, this carbon
primarily targets chemical and chlorine removal, thereby enhancing
the longevity of catalytic carbon.
Catalytic Carbon:
Exceptionally effective at eliminating chloramine, its longevity
is maximized by preceding it with KDF-55 and Granular Activated
