Inside the System

4-Stage Filtration, Nothing Gets By

Every prime connection in the filtration chain uses posi-seal double O-ring technology, so untreated city water passes through four precision stages with zero bypass and 100% of the flow through the media.

1
Sediment prefilter closeup

5-Micron Sediment Filter

Traps particulates, dirt, and rust before they reach the carbon stages, protecting downstream components and extending membrane life.

2
Chloramine block filter closeup

Chloramine Block Filter

Targets chloramines (chlorine + ammonia), the disinfectant increasingly used by municipalities that standard carbon alone can't fully remove.

3
Carbon block filter closeup

Carbon Block Filter

Adsorbs chlorine, VOCs, and organic compounds that degrade RO membranes. Critical for municipal water sources.

4
RO membrane and pressure vessel closeup

RO Membrane

High-efficiency thin-film composite membrane in a posi-seal double O-ring housing rejects 98.5% of dissolved solids, delivering permeate ready for direct use or storage.

Why Switch

Maverick Lite vs. the Competition

Most commercial RO providers rely on imported components and lengthy lead times. We took a different approach.

Maverick Lite

<7-day lead times: ships in days, not months

American-made: designed, built & tested in the USA

Up to 75% water recovery: saving thousands in water costs

Powder-coated steel frame: 15+ year service life

Up to 5-year warranty + 1-year money-back guarantee

Direct expert access: certified water specialists, not scripts

Typical Competitors

8–12 week lead times: delayed projects and lost revenue

Imported components: vulnerable to tariffs and supply-chain disruption

~50% water recovery: wasting half the water you pay for

Inferior materials: 5–8 year lifespan before corrosion

Limited warranties: 1–2 years with restrictive fine print

Outsourced support: long holds and generic troubleshooting

Every system ships complete with the RO membrane, three pre-filter stages (5-micron sediment + dual carbon block), modular powder-coated steel frame, mounting brackets for wall or floor installation, quick-connect tubing, and all fittings. Storage tanks and UV sterilization are available as add-on options.

The Maverick Lite is backed by strong coverage that reflects the durability of the system. Five (5) years from the date of purchase apply to filter housings, membrane housing, brackets, tanks, tubing, and fittings, the core hardware built to last. One (1) year from the date of purchase applies to pumps and electronics. Coverage begins at purchase, not installation, so you're protected as soon as you buy. Filters and membranes are consumables and are not covered under the hardware warranty; we make reordering them simple through our filter program.

Yes. The Maverick Lite supports plug-and-play installation with included brackets and hardware. Most users complete setup in under 2 hours. For more complex plumbing configurations, our experts can walk you through it over the phone or recommend a certified local installer.

Pre-filters should be replaced every 6–12 months depending on water quality and usage. The RO membrane typically lasts 2–3 years. We offer a convenient auto-ship program so you never miss a filter change.

It depends on your daily water usage. A small coffee shop typically needs 200–350 GPD, while a dental office or small restaurant may require 500–750 GPD. Our team can help you size the system. Just call or request a free quote.

Storage tanks are optional and can be added during checkout. They're recommended for businesses with peak-demand periods where you need a large volume of RO water available on demand.

Feed water should be below 1,000 ppm total dissolved solids (TDS). If your source water is particularly hard or high in iron, we recommend pre-treatment. Our specialists can advise on the best configuration for your water chemistry.

US Water Systems Maverick Lite Commercial RO System - 200 to 750 GPD

"I purchased this system for my home, not as a whole home system, but for use to provide water for our pets and drinking water. We were tired of buying bottles/jugs of water and dealing with the plastic waste. I wanted a system that was larger capacity then an under the sink unit, so this was perfect. I mounted the unit to wall in the garage and plumbed the lines to the 20 Gal tank and my fridge using 3/8" lines and valves. Other than the system being plumbed incorrectly from the factory (which I corrected myself) the system is delivering high quality water with les than 80PPM, my city water measures @ 589 PPM. I would recommend this system."

Extremely well built and easy

"Extremely well built and easy to install. Customer service was great when I had a question."

Sean M. (5/5)

Works great, however the installation

"Works great, however the installation manual needs updating because the text and photos didn't match my system. It made me wonder if my system was manufactured incorrectly and was missing parts. For example, the input on my system was on the left the manual side it was on the right, this meant the filter cartridge position had to be reversed from what was called out in the manual. Tubing color in my kit was all black manual shows different colors. Tank fittings shown were not included in the kit. These differences are minor by themselves but together they slow down installlation and can lead to potential mistakes."

Roland M. (4/5)

Leaky

"System was leaky and disassembly was a pain to fix the leaks."

Old D. (2/5)

Very happy with unit

"Working great so far- makes lots of RO water High end of range advertise"

Post S. (5/5)

"Overall the system worked as it should. Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because it had some loose fittings and such."

Ray (4/5)

Great System Easy Install

"I installed a 350gpd version w/ 20 gal composite tank to replace a very under sized 75gpd w/ ~ 7gal storage under counter system. I went with the 350gpd because my ro system consists of 2 faucets, a freezer ice maker and a under counter ice maker. The under counter ice maker is what made me upgrade in the first place because it uses a lot of water expecially when I run the cleaning cycles. With the old system it would take all day just to clean and sanitize the ice maker. With the new 350gpd ro unit i can clean, sanitize and start making ice in just over an hour. The performance is great I installed an inline tds meter on the incomming, brine, and membrane output water lines and according to the meter the rejection ratio is slightly better than the published normal rejection ratio given in the specifications. I don't have flow meters installed so getting the actual rejection rate and actual gpd measurement for this unit would be inaccurate. I am not a professional just a diyer and this unit is well built and very easy to install just follow the instructions. as a bonus it's parts are made mostly in the usa the only thing I could find that's not made in the usa is the ro membrane itself. Definately would recommend if you are looking for a light commercial system. Oh, I suppose I should comment on how the water actually tastes well it tastes like water there are no odd tastes after being processed meaning the system itself is not assing any odd tastes to the water."

Q&A

What is the ratio of these 1 to 1 or 3 to 1 or five to one?
The ratio can vary depending on several factors, including incoming water pressure, temperature, TDS, water chemistry, membrane condition, and how the system is adjusted at startup. Under the right conditions, it can be around 1:1, but we would not want to promise a fixed ratio without knowing the actual site conditions. The larger models with a pump will generally have better recovery than the smaller line-pressure models because they can maintain more consistent operating pressure
Specifically the 200 GPD: what is the footprint on the filtration unit, and is there a set required PSI?
Specifications and requirements can be found on page 6 of manual here: https://usws-pdfs.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/media/pdf/USWaterSystemsMaverickLiteCommercialROSystem-200to750GPD.pdf
Maverick 500gpd. Does it have a high pressure switch? If it does, what is it set at?
Yes — the Maverick 500 GPD model (and the 750 GPD one) includes a booster pump with a factory-installed high-pressure shutoff switch. This switch shuts off the pump once a preset pressure of 60 psi is reached.
What is the electrical connection required for the Maverick 350 with 80-gallon composite tank?
The Maverick 350 has no electrical connections. Only the 500 and 750 require a 110v outlet for the electrical connection.
