360 Degree Protection
Crossfire Technology uses a unique elliptical reflector design with dual air-mounted lamps to concentrate sterilizing UV light from 360 degrees on the water column.
Pathogens have nowhere to hide—penetrating UV radiation is effectively delivered to every point in the water column without UV shadowing by suspended and dissolved solids in the water.
The result is industry-leading disinfection performance even for difficult quality water.
Self-Cleaning
Even visibly clear water can contain minerals and microorganisms that build up on the transparent quartz sleeve that contains the water column.
Crossfire Technology features an automatic self-cleaning mechanism that continually scrapes minerals and biofilm from the quartz-water interface, preventing fouling and maximizing UV dose delivery without manual cleaning intervention.
This enables Crossfire to effectively disinfect difficult water like wastewater, rainwater and groundwater with less pre-treatment than other conventional UV systems.
Smart Sensors
Crossfire Technology integrates multiple smart sensors in rugged housings that continuously monitor UV dose, lamp intensity, and net UV transmittance for optimum performance.
Operators can stay informed about their UV system through onboard data logging with optional 4-20 mA and Modbus outputs, visual and audible alarms for event notifications, and self-diagnostic troubleshooting.
Crossfire smart sensors eliminate nuisance alarms and help to minimize downtime.
Modular Redundancy
Take advantage of the compact modular design of Crossfire Technology to easily configure multiple-unit systems for additional capacity and redundancy at a fraction of the cost of large conventional systems.
Variable flow and water quality conditions can also be accommodated with a modular UV system so that disinfection performance is always achieved.
Optimized manifold or cabinet configurations can be prefabricated by UV Pure or simply built in-place to accommodate the installation requirements.

NSF/ANSI 55 Class A: Certification from NSF International (USA) to the NSF/American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard for safe UV microbiological water treatment systems designed to disinfect water contaminated with pathogenic bacteria, viruses, Cryptosporidium or Giardia – Hallett PN models (pending).
NSF/ANSI 61: Gold Seal certification from the Water Quality Association (USA) to the NSF/American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard for drinking water system components that meet safe levels of contaminants that may cause health effects – all Hallett models – free from chemical extraction requirements.
NSF/ANSI 372: Gold Seal certification from the Water Quality Association (USA) to the NSF/American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard for drinking water system components that meet safe levels of lead content – all Hallett models – lead-free base.
US EPA: Performance validation in accordance with the US Environmental Protection Agency Ultraviolet Disinfection Guidance Manual (UVDGM) – Hallett 1000 models validated.
